the village of Camogli also known as “The City of a Thousand
White Tall Ships”
The navigation continues running along the boundary line of Portofino’s
headland Marine Reserve, until reaching the delightful Bay of San
Fruttuoso. Here you will be able to visit the ancient abbey or,
by using the characteristic local wooden boat called “Gozzi”,
you may survey from the sea surface, by means of special glass mask
with which the “Gozzi” are equipped, the famous underwater
“Christ of the Abyss” .
Once you have completed your visit to San Fruttuoso, you can then
reach Portofino using the shuttle service boats which leaves every
hours from 11:30 to 15:30 taking about 30 minutes.
